Bilingual slides may not be enabled by default, reach out to support to enable it

This guide will help you use the Bilingual Slides feature for your webinars.
Follow the step-by-step instructions to upload and configure bilingual slides for your webinar presentation.

Activating Bilingual Slides:

Uploading Slides:

  • After creating your webinar, go to the General Settings tab from the lefthand navigation options.

  • Under the Language field, double-check that the box for Enable Secondary Language has been selected. (This will enable you to upload a secondary deck)

  • After checking the box for your Secondary Language, a new dropdown will appear with a selection of languages. Simply should choose the language that's been used on the secondary slide deck.

    Upload a Slide Deck:

You should first upload a slide deck as you normally would for any other webinar.
After your first slide deck has been uploaded, and after selecting the Enable Secondary Language toggle. Navigate over to the Content tab, to open the bilingual editor found beside your slide deck statistics.

Once you've clicked on the option for Bilingual Slides, an appearing menu will ask you to upload the secondary slide deck, in the language you selected when activating the feature from the general settings page:

Your secondary deck will upload and go through the same conversation process as any other slide deck before being made available. Additional options are also provided in this section to download or remove the uploaded copy of the slides.

It's important, bilingual slide decks must contain the same number of slides!

If you attempt to upload a secondary deck with a mismatched number of slides,
a warning message will advise that you cannot proceed any further:

As a best practice, ensure that your bilingual slide deck is as close a match to the original source as possible for easy audience flow and consistency.

Bilingual Slides within the Presenter Console:

From the presenter console, you can upload and configure bilingual slides by accessing the Content icon from the navbar. You will have a copy of the same options as above.

Take note of the presentation window, with the bilingual indicator shown in the top right of your slides, clicking on this icon will reveal a preview image of the slide in its alternate language.

Bilingual slides from an Audience Member Perspective:

Once webinar attendees have joined into the live webinar console.
There will be some additional controls for audience members to flip over to the alternate language:

The audience language toggle can be adjusted as many times as desired throughout the presentation.
