Eloqua Integration with Webhook
Eloqua Integration with Webhook
Updated over a week ago

Eloqua allows the use of webhooks to communicate with third-party web services. Webinar.net's webhook supports the use of the HTTP POST method to receive registration data.

There are two steps to complete the integration setup.

  • Set up registration field mapping on webinar.net side.

  • Set up webhook URL on Eloqua's form

Set up registration field mappings

Open the webinar that you need to set up the integration, click on Integration from the left side menu.

Then, select the Eloqua Webhook tab.

Note. If you do not see Eloqua Webhook tab, please contact support at support@webinar.net.

On this tab, you will see all the enabled registration fields are listed under Registration Field Mappings.

You need to fill in the Target Field names that Eloqua will use to send registration data (See next step for details.)

For registration fields that require attendee selections, a full field mapping is required.

Once all the fields have been successfully mapped, click Save Mappings.

Set up webhook in Eloqua form

Copy the Webhook URL on Eloqua Webhook tab. This URL is the URL to receive the data sent from Eloqua.

Note. This URL is unique per webinar.

Now, open up the form on Eloqua side, click on Processing button. Then, click on Post Data to Server menu. You should see the page similar to the following.

You need to fill in the Webhook URL as well as field mappings. The target field names must match those on added on webinar.net side.
