⚡ Data exported from the webinar.net reporting center is exported in a plain data format which may not provide support for all special characters. However, the special characters can be restored and supported, by first importing your report into a new Excel sheet.
On Windows:
Start a new blank Excel document, and navigate over to the "Data" tab.
From the data tab, you may select "From Text/CSV" which will open a new window and ask you to import data from a CSV.
After selecting the exported CSV from the platform you will be greeted with a preview of your data and some advanced settings.
You should ensure that when importing, your advanced setting for the "Unicode" is set to "(UTF-8)" as seen in the image below:
On Mac OS:
On the File menu, click "Import".
In the Import dialog box, click the option for the type of file that you want to import, and then click Import.
When importing be sure to check your advanced settings for the "Unicode" & make sure it's set to "(UTF-8)" as seen in the image below:
After importing your data you should now see the full and correct listing with non-broken characters.
