Webinars are fantastic tools for communication and knowledge sharing. However, security is paramount. webinar.net takes data protection seriously and offers a robust set of features to ensure your webinar is a safe and secure space for both you and your attendees.

Why Prioritize Webinar Security?

Webinar security is crucial for several reasons:

  • Protecting Sensitive Information: Webinars might involve discussions of confidential data or strategies. Utilizing security measures minimizes the risk of unauthorized access and keeps your information safe.

  • Preventing Disruptions: Security features help mitigate the risk of disruptive behavior from unwelcome attendees. This ensures a focused and productive learning environment for everyone.

  • Building Trust with Your Audience: By prioritizing security, you demonstrate your commitment to protecting their privacy and data. This fosters trust and encourages them to actively participate in your webinar.

Allow List

This feature allows you to pre-approve a specific list of attendees before they can join your webinar. This is particularly useful for private or restricted webinars where only authorized individuals should have access.

  • Allow List Domains - restrict access to your webinar to attendees whose email addresses belong to specific domains (e.g., yourcompany.com). This is ideal for internal company webinars or events intended for specific organizations.

  • Allow List Email Addresses - individual email addresses that are granted access to your webinar. This provides granular control over who can join, even if their email address doesn't belong to an approved domain.

  • Bulk Add - upload a CSV file containing the list of domains or email addresses to be allowed. A template will be available for download within the opening window.

Deny List

The Deny List feature allows you to block specific attendees from joining your webinar.

  • Deny List Domains - allow you to block access to attendees whose email addresses belong to specific domains. This can be useful if you want to exclude certain organizations or individuals from your webinar.

  • Deny List Email Addresses - individual email addresses that are denied access to your webinar. This can be helpful if you encounter disruptive or unauthorized participants.

  • Bulk Add - upload a CSV file containing the list of domains or email addresses to be denied access. A template will be available for download within the opening window.

Managing the Security Lists

You can delete all the domains or email addresses, or a selection if needed.
