Using and Configuring Real-Time Slides Mode
Real-Time Slides Mode allows your audience to view your presentation slides as they advance in real time. This feature is ideal for events where attendees only need to follow along with slides, without audio or video playback.
What is Real-Time Slides Mode?
When Real-Time Slides Mode is enabled, attendees will:
See slides advance in real-time as the presenter moves through the deck.
Do not have access to the Media Player (no audio/video stream).
Join using a special Real-Time Slides URL, separate from the main webinar link.
This mode is especially useful in scenarios such as:
In-person events where slides are displayed live in a room.
Secondary viewing experiences where only the presentation is required.
Low-bandwidth situations where streaming video is not necessary.
How to Enable Real-Time Slides Mode
First, configure the slides component within the Interface Builder
Open the Interface Builder for your webinar.
Click on the configure gear within the Presentation slides component.
Check the option to Enable Real-Time Slides.
Audience Access
When Real-Time Slides Mode is enabled, the system generates a unique Real-Time Slides URL.
Only attendees who join using this URL will see the slides in real-time.
Standard webinar links will continue to show the usual media player experience.
Best Practices
Share the Real-Time Slides URL only with audiences who require slide-only access.
For hybrid events, use both: the main webinar link for full audio/video participation, and the Real-Time Slides URL for secondary viewers.
Test the link before the event to confirm that slides are advancing as expected.
