Screen sharing, also known as desktop sharing, is the practice of sharing the contents of your screen with another device or multiple devices. This can include all the elements on a screen or simply one window, and it allows you to have complete control over the visibility of your desktop.

While sharing your screen, your presenters may continue to air the webcam portions to the audience. Allowing for both screen share and webcam video to take place at the same time.

When to Share Your Screen:

Screen sharing can be a powerful tool for various webinar scenarios:

  • Software Demos: Bring your software to life! Share your screen to walk attendees through the functionalities and features of your program in real time.

  • Website Walkthroughs: Are you planning a webinar on a new website design or marketing campaign? Screen sharing lets you showcase the website interactively, highlighting key elements and functionalities.

  • Live Co-creation: Need to brainstorm ideas or create a document collaboratively with your audience? Share your screen and utilize co-creation tools (if available on your platform) to generate ideas and content.

How to Use Screen Sharing
