Creating Shareable Clips

Generate short-form video clips from your on-demand webinar content in the Lab.

Overview

Shareable Clips helps you turn existing webinar content into short videos for social media and other promotional channels. Clips can be generated from a webinar recording, a media file, or an exported MP4.

Open the Clips workspace

Open the 3-dot menu on the general settings page, then select Clips from the navigation menu:

Create a clip

Use the New clip form to select the source and configure how the clips are generated.

1. Start a new clip

From the Clips workspace, select New clip.

2. Choose a video

Select the source you want to use. Available sources include the webinar recording, media files, and exported MP4 files.

3. Describe the moment you want to find (optional)

Use the Find clip moment field to tell the system what part of the video to look for. Be specific about the topic, statement, or moment you want included. Leave the field blank if you do not need to target a particular moment.

Prompt tip: Be specific. For example: “Find the section where the presenter explains the three main benefits.” Generic or short context entries such as “funny” may not return useful results.

4. Choose an aspect ratio

Select the layout that best matches where you plan to share the clip.
For example, a vertical 9:16 layout is suited to short-form social platforms.

5. Select a template

Choose the visual template you want applied to the clip. The available templates are shown for the selected aspect ratio.

6. Set the clip length

Choose the preferred duration or select Auto to allow the system to determine an appropriate length.

7. Choose the number of clips

Enter how many clip variations you want to generate.

Customize the generated clips

Before generating, you can enable any of the available enhancements:

  • Remove silences to reduce pauses in the selected content.

  • Add appearing emojis to complement the clip’s subtitles and presentation.

  • Highlight keywords in subtitles to emphasize important words and phrases.

  • Generate a clip headline to add a short title to the clip.

  • Add B-rolls to supplement the primary video with supporting visuals.

8. Generate the clips

Review your selections, then select Generate. The requested clips are created using the video, prompt, layout, template, duration, and enhancements you selected.

Tips for better results

  • Choose a source video that clearly contains the moment or topic you want to feature.

  • Describe the desired moment in plain, specific language.

  • Select an aspect ratio that matches the intended destination for the clip.

  • Generate multiple clips when you want a selection of moments or variations to review.
