The QoE Report is a diagnostic tool available to Producers that provides insight into how well attendees are connected and experiencing the webinar.
Whether you're mid-event or reviewing post-show data, this report gives you a clear picture of viewer quality, helping you identify technical issues like buffering, stream downgrades, and load times.
Accessing the QoE Report
To generate the report, you'll need to be on the Producer Roster and logged into the Presenter Console with Producer Controls enabled:
Once on the Producer Roster, from there, enter into the Presenter Console and click on the Gear Icon, to open the Producer Panel from the left-hand navigation rail. Where you'll find the option to generate and download the QoE Report as an Excel spreadsheet:
This report can be pulled at any time—either during the live broadcast or once the event has ended—allowing you to monitor connection quality in real time or analyze it after the fact.
What’s Included in the Report?
When you download the QoE Report, you’ll receive a spreadsheet with detailed attendee-level information. Each row corresponds to a unique viewer and includes their name, email, IP address, browser and operating system, whether they joined from a mobile or desktop device, how long they watched, how long the stream took to load, how much buffering occurred, and more:
Privacy Note: The QoE Report includes IP and device-level data for diagnostic purposes only and is accessible only to users with Producer-level access.
How the Quality Score Works
One of the key columns is the Quality Score, which gives you a high-level snapshot of how smooth the viewing experience was for each attendee.
Every attendee starts with a score of 5, which represents an optimal experience.
This score can be reduced based on two main factors: buffering and stream step-downs.
Buffering instances affect the score as follows:
More than 10 seconds of buffering: drops to 4
More than 30 seconds: drops to 3
More than 60 seconds: drops to 2
More than 120 seconds: drops to 1
Automatic stream quality step-downs are also tracked.
For example:
In 720p webcam events,
If a user’s stream drops to 240p or lower, their score is reduced.
In 1080p RTMP events,
dropping below 360p triggers a similar deduction.
Audio-only events aren’t affected, as there’s only one audio bitrate in use.
These scores give you a fast, objective way to identify who may have had a poor experience and why. It’s especially helpful when troubleshooting support cases or investigating feedback from attendees.
Tips for Use
The QoE Report is ideal for reviewing performance patterns—whether you're checking if a drop in quality coincided with a spike in audience churn, or just confirming that most attendees had a smooth experience.
If specific users consistently score low, it may indicate network limitations or device compatibility issues on their end.
