If your company uses a firewall allowlist for restricted network access, please refer to the following details to ensure seamless connectivity for your service.
WebRTC
Webinar.net uses WebRTC for the presenters to do presentations.
There are three parts in WebRTC:
Signaling
Discovery
Establishing the P2P connection
For signaling, we use secure WebSocket (wss://), which requires 443 port.
Please take a look at this article for more info on discovering and establishing a P2P connection.
Domains & IP Addresses
For most firewall or proxy systems, webinar.net recommends specifying an allowed list of DNS names for webinar.net services to make outbound connections. The list of webinar.net domains currently includes (but is not limited to) the lists below.
Presenter Servers
The Presenter Console requires the following ports open for the Presenter Servers.
Protocol | Firewall Ports | Description |
TCP | 443 | HTTPS & WebSocket |
UDP | 16384-32768 | RTP/ RTCP multimedia streaming for WebRTC |
Server IP Addresses
15.156.118.233
15.222.159.156

3.98.74.32
3.99.64.213
52.60.246.177
99.79.102.49
If an audience has access to the On-Stage module inside the Audience Interface, the ports and IP addresses listed above are also required for them to connect to the Presenter Servers.
RTMP Servers
RTMP servers are available via the rtmp://
protocol.
Domains
rtmp-a.webinar.net (port 1935)
rtmp-b.webinar.net (port 1935)

TCP Tunneling Servers
The Presenter Console requires the following port for accessing these TCP Tunneling Servers. This is only required if TCP Tunneling is enabled. TCP Tunneling is only required when the firewall does not allow UDP ports 16384-32768.
You can read more about TCP Tunneling here.
Protocol | Firewall Ports | Description |
TCP | 443 | WebRTC over TCP |
Server IP Addresses
3.96.31.36
